The study of Architecture and Interior Design remains incomplete without Vastu’s additional knowledge. IVS School of Art and Design has taken a small step to bring forth the scientific value behind the ancient wisdom of Vastu by introducing a short-term course of Basic, advanced, and Diploma courses in Scientific Vastu. 
IVS is immensely proud and honored to have Dr.R.M.Mehra as our HOD of scientific Vastu Shastra
Dr. R. M. Mehra (Ph.D & DSc) is an Interior Designer, Senior Scientific Vastu®, Expert Healthy Home Expert, Colour Expert, Vastu Consultant, and Author.  Dr Mehra has been sharing his knowledge through his books like Scientific Vastu™, “The Healthy Office” and many more. Mehra has presented various technical papers and has received numerous awards of appreciation.

Diploma in
Scientific Vastu Shastra

Duration : 1Year

Scientific Vastushastra Diploma comprises of Vasteriology in which students will be learning about Remedies of Five-Sense Comfort, Painting & Sculptures,, Aroma, Music & Sounds, Textures, Furniture, Materials, Compatibility lamps, Five Element Activation, De-cluttering & De-Stagnation, New beginnings, walls/elevations as Remedies.

They’ll be learning some special topics aa well – Raha Mukh Puch Vichar, Aayam Vichar, Dhan Rin Vichar, Vedic Predictions, Defect and Effect Remedies along with Code of Conduct and Practical Applications.

Scientific Vastushastra Advance is focused on Commercial Vastushastra,
Students will learn about: Commercial Spaces, Ekatshiti Pada Vastu Mandala, Remedies and Enhancements, Advanced Placements, Vedic Principles and Remedies, Construction By-Laws, Addressing Defects, Effects and Remedies, Client Interaction, and Practical Application

Collaboration with Drexel University in Philadelphia, USA, has given impetus to international studies at IVS School of Art and Design. IVS and Drexel University are jointly focusing on: Teaching Collaborations, Research Collaborations & Transfer Degree Programs. 

Under the teaching collaboration, virtual Global Classrooms are held where IVS & Drexel students synchronously attend online classes, collaborate, learn & research design problems. Students not only work collaboratively but also gain global cross-cultural perspectives, helping them become global citizens.
